wecandoitDuring pregnancy, all women want to feel amazing and look like that glowing magical pregnancy unicorn lady we saw in the mall rocking heels and a tight silhouette dress that perfectly frames her cute baby bump.

Following a healthy and productive lifestyle makes all the difference during pregnancy. You can do it! Here’s some tips to help you look and feel your best:

KEEP GRINDING!

As much as you want to take time off work when you’re feeling sick, try your best to stick to your normal schedule keep your momentum going. The more you drag your feet, the worse you will feel.

PUMP OUT WITH YOUR BUMP OUT!

It’s SO important that you create a workout plan that fits into your lifestyle. If you like to get out of the house, snag a membership to your local gym. If you’re an at home workout kind of person, there are so many different types of workouts you can do on your own. Here’s a simple workout I crafted for pregnancy that you can do at home.

DRESS IT UP!

When you put effort into your appearance, it shows. If you want to look like that magical pregnant lady with the heels on and silhouette dress, then throw on your favorite little black dress and some killer accessories and blam! You’re a preggo knockout!

SKIP THE FRIED FOOD!

Eating right is the most important part of feeling good while you’re pregnant. If there’s any time in your life you should be sticking to a healthy diet, it’s NOW! You’re eating for two, and wouldn’t you want the best for your little one?

BUT IT’S OK TO GIVE INTO THOSE CRAVINGS ONCE IN A WHILE!

I mean really, there’s nothing that makes me happier than some Dulce de Leche Haagen Dazs ice cream. If that’s what it’s going to take for your mood swing to dissipate, go for it. It’s fine to give into your cravings during pregnancy as long as your eating well for the most part.

GET OUT OF THE HOUSE OFTEN!

Sometimes all you want to do is veg out on the couch during pregnancy, but there’s something magical about fresh air and a little adventure. Once the baby comes, you may be glued to the house for more time than you bargained for.

TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!

You have to enjoy this amazing time in your life while it lasts. Soon there will be a little human taking up all of your attention. Now is the time to spend time doing the things you love. Parents tend to loose sight of who they are as individuals. There’s no better time than now to get in touch with yourself.
